Why Organic
As an environment-friendly company, we want to contribute to keeping the earth clean and safe for our children and future generations. We attempt to do everything conceivable to minimize our ecological footprint. By using organic raw materials and making garments out of them, our process minimizes its effect on the ecosystem while keeping up the same solace and style we are known for.
Conventionally grown crops use more insecticides than any other crop in the world. These chemicals can be deadly. Such pesticides poison farmers all over the world. Factory workers too have to breathe in their fumes during the manufacturing process. According to the World Health Organization up to 20,000 deaths each year are caused by pesticide poisoning in developing countries. These chemicals seep into run-off water after heavy rains, poisoning lakes, rivers, and waterways.
So, growing and using organic crops is the only way to cope with this situation and to save our planet and its people. Organic fabrics have a major positive impact on the health of our planet and its people. We are GOTS certified which is the highest degree of certification for organic clothing products.
The question should be Why Not Organic?
Organic cotton is better for the environment, period. It reduces the effect of chemicals, insecticides, pesticides (that would never biodegrade), from the ecosystem and thereby making it a safer place.
When these harmful insecticides and pesticides are eliminated from the environment, the animals, plants, water bodies and are own bodies will be free of these harmful antibiotics.
Going Organic is the answer.
